Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) uses medications, such as Methadone and Suboxone (Buprenorphine), and Naltrexone to support detox and maintenance for those experiencing dependence on opiates and opioids. 

MaineCare Opioid Health Home Organizations: Opioid Health Homes (OHH) deliver office-based MAT, opioid dependency counseling, and comprehensive care management for eligible MaineCare members and uninsured individuals with opioid use disorder. 

OPTIONS Overdose Prevention Through Intensive Outreach Naloxone and Safety Initiative is a coordinated effort of state agencies to improve the health of Mainers using substances through harm reduction strategies, helping them on the road to recovery, and dramatically reducing the number of fatal and non-fatal drug overdoses.  

MaineMOM is a substance use treatment service designed to care for MaineCare eligible pregnant and postpartum women with opioid use disorder and their infants.
