Sexual Assault Support

Children’s Safety Partnership supports schools in implementing effective child sexual abuse prevention policies based on law Maine’s Public Law 20-A MRS §254, sub-§18.  Information and resources are available including an online toolkit with information for parents, teachers, administrators, schools, and communities.   

Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MECASA) is a coalition to end of sexual violence and support high quality sexual violence prevention and response in Maine communities.  Services include a helpline, chat, sexual assault response centers, Children's Advocacy Centers, Maine Sex Trafficking and exploitation Network, and The Children's Safety Partnership.  

Maine Sex Trafficking & Exploitation Network provides training, technical assistance, and resources to direct service providers engaged in anti-trafficking efforts in Maine, as well as community awareness and public policy support. For access to immediate ​services in Maine call the National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888.
